Once again I am clergy dean at Camp W**d and Cerveny Conference Center. This year our scripture is Col 3:14 "above all clothe yourselves with love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony" so we have been exploring together what God's love looks like. Yesterday I asked the children to draw that love and here is what they drew...

What a day at the beach yesterday! Baptisms in the ocean, lots of joy, and so much love and support from everyone who showed up. Super grateful to celebrate life-changing moments together in such a simple, beautiful setting.

Juneteenth is an invitation to remember honestly, to give thanks for those who persevered through oppression, and to recommit ourselves to the work of healing, reconciliation, and justice.

The Gospel calls us into relationship with one another, into the hard and holy work of listening, learning, and building communities where every person is recognized as beloved by God.

Please note, the Diocesan Office is closed Friday, June 19 in recognition of Juneteenth.

What a glorious day at St. Peter's!

Yesterday we celebrated the beautiful gifts of Baptism and Confirmation - moments of grace, joy, renewal, and the movement of the Holy Spirit among us. We welcomed a new member into Christ's Church through the waters of Baptism and stood alongside those who publicly reaffirmed their faith and commitment to Jesus.

Thank you to everyone who prayed, supported, sponsored, sang, and celebrated. We are reminded that faith is never lived alone, we make these promises together as a community, responding each time: "We will, with God's help."

NEXT WEEK, at 1:30 we will have the opportunity to live into our Baptismal Covenant once again, as we stand together on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean to witness the baptisms of a few from our community. It's an exciting time here at St. Peter's! Spread the Word!
