BTC Parish & School was founded in 2005 as a result of the merger of several predecessor Catholic parishes and schools in the North St. Louis County area, including Sts. John and James, Holy Ghost, Holy Angels (Our Lady of Angels), St. Sebastian, Good Shephard and St. Bartholomew.
