Walk Worthy: Remember

Throughout Scripture, God continually calls His people to remember. Yet we are often quick to forget His faithfulness, provision, and mighty works. Just as the Israelites built altars in the wilderness as reminders of God’s goodness, we too should intentionally reflect on what the Lord has done. Remembering His faithfulness strengthens us in times of trial, encourages our hearts, and helps guard us from falling into sin.

In marriage, we are called to reflect Christ. No matter what season we’re in or what our spouse may or may not be doing, each of us will one day give an account for our own walk with God.

Psalm 73 speaks honestly to the moments when life feels confusing and it seems like those who aren’t pursuing God are prospering, while your own heart feels worn down and uncertain. The writer admits he almost lost his footing when he became consumed with what he saw around him and couldn’t make sense of it all. But his perspective begins to change when he turns his attention back to God and remembers what is truly lasting. He realizes that nothing compares to the nearness of God himself, and that even when his strength was fading, God was still holding him and guiding him through. The psalm gently reminds us that what we see isn’t the full story, and that stability is found again when we refocus on God’s presence and faithfulness.

“Nevertheless, I am continually with you; you hold my right hand. You guide me with your counsel, and afterward you will receive me to glory. Whom have I in heaven but you? And there is nothing on earth that I desire besides you. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. But for me it is good to be near God; I have made the Lord God my refuge, that I may tell of all your works.”

Walk Worthy: How to Ruin Your Marriage

The wise woman builds her house, but the foolish tears it down with her own hands. As women, we have great power to build our marriages up or slowly erode them. Join us as we talk about the common pitfalls that weaken our marriages and how we can rebuild through our obedience to Christ.

Stay rooted in the Word; not for perfection, but for perspective. Every time we spend time in His word, we’re reminded of His grace and our freedom in Him from sin.

As we conclude Entrusted, we reflect on the instructions Paul charged us with in 1 and 2 Timothy. As believers, we are called to guard the treasure we have been entrusted, entrust the treasure to others, and uphold the treasure by the way we live.

We ended the night with a Q&A panel with our teachers, where we had the opportunity to hear honest, thoughtful, and practical answers to questions that were submitted. It was such a meaningful time of discussion as we talked through how to apply what we’ve learned, navigate real-life challenges, and grow deeper in our understanding of God’s Word together.
