“Watch what God does, and then you do it, like children who learn proper behavior from their parents. Mostly what God does is love you. Keep company with him and learn a life of love. Observe how Christ loved us. His love was not cautious but extravagant. He didn’t love in order to get something from us but to give everything of himself to us. Love like that.”

Do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go." Joshua 1:9

In 24 hours, a new year will be given and many of us will wish each other a "Happy New Year!" As we start a new year, we need more than a hopeful greeting from people around us. We need to listen to what Jehovah God told Joshua about 3,000 years ago. As Joshua was about to guide God's people into the great promised land, he had reason to be afraid. He had an enormous task ahead of him, and he was so well aware of the dangers that he and his people would soon be facing. He needed God's encouragement. A new year brings so many questions: Will our health be good in 2018? Will our marriage be ok? Will I be able to hang on to my job? Will I live to see the end of this year? Will the economy improve? Will there be a terrorist attack or some natural disaster that takes me or my loved ones? The Creator of the universe comes to us and says, "Don't be afraid; don't be discouraged." What happens in this coming year is not left to chance. God is in charge, let me repeat that “Our God is in charge! “ and he promises to stay very close: "The LORD your God will be with you wherever you go."

Everyone helped his neighbor, And said to his brother, “Be of good courage!” So the craftsman encouraged the goldsmith; He who smooths with the hammer inspired him who strikes the anvil,

As most of you know I left Cornerstone on November 19th 2017. It was vital for Jen and I to step back and get rest and focus on our family.

I miss ministering the word and praying for people’s needs the most. A week ago I felt led to start this page called Eleventh Hour Action Church. In a couple of weeks, we will do our first live stream service with a 20 minute sermon and a time of prayer. During the prayer time you can post a request and I and the others watching will agree in prayer real time for your need. I feel like Thursday nights at 8pm will be our time. I will need to purchase a few sound items to broadcast in my basement.

For those of you in ministry, this could be your avenue to get ministered to and encouraged!
