September Formed Recommendation

Archbishop Fulton Sheen will be beatified on Thursday, September 24, 2026, in St. Louis, Missouri. Between now and then, the Go Make Disciples team encourages you to learn more about this remarkable man and the timeless messages he shared.

This month’s Formed recommendation is a series of videos featuring the words and wisdom of Archbishop Fulton Sheen, who hosted the popular television program Life Is Worth Living during the 1950s.

St. Paul wrote that three things remain: faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love, for love is eternal. These words became a vital part of Archbishop Sheen’s life and teaching. The Formed series explores four themes from his message: “Love Is Faith,” “Love Is Hope,” “Love Is Truth,” and “Love Is Eternal.”

Take some time to listen to the wisdom of Archbishop Fulton Sheen and discover how his message of faith and love still speaks to us today.
