Carpenter Bridge Community Church meets at the corner of Carpenter Bridge and Canterbury Roads at the Laws Chapel building. Laws Chapel has stood on that corner for well over 100 years. Originally donated by Joshua Laws in the late 1700's, the church was known as Laws Methodist Chapel until they stopped meeting there in the early 1900's. When our congregation purchased the building in 1954, the ch

urch took the name Laws Mennonite Church. In 2023, the church fellowship decided to change name to reflect our geographic location and desire to impact the community surrounding the church building.

Easter Sunday is the best of all Holy Days.

The Lord is Risen, the tomb is empty!

Come celebrate with us!

Have Easter breakfast at 9:00 and stay for a special Easter service at 10:30. Everyone is welcome, and we would love to see you there!

At this point, we plan to have services as usual at Carpenter Bridge Community Church this morning. Sunday school at 10, and worship at 11.

The parking lot on the handicap side of the church is clear as are the steps and the ramp and the landing. The carport is also clear, and if you should need someone to park your car in the larger parking area, (which isn’t as clear) just pull into the carport and someone will park your car for you.

Also, FYI, the entrance from Canterbury Road is not open. You will need to enter from the entrance on Carpenter Bridge Road.
