OTD in 1788 Adoniram Judson was born. The missionary to Burma labored 7 years before his first convert and spent almost 40 years on the field. He translated the Burmese Bible and was among first to adopt native customs to reach the people. He buried two wives and several children in Burma.

OTD in 1935 Bill Wallace was appointed as a medical missionary to China by the Foreign Mission Board He served in China until his arrest and martyrdom in prison in 1951. We continue to pray for his family and friends, and for our brothers and sisters in Christ at the Felicity Christian Church during this difficult time. A great loss.

It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of the passing of our beloved minister-emeritus Rick Gabelman.

Rick came to Felicity and FCC upon graduating from Cincinnati Bible Seminary in 1979. While most ministers fresh out of college start somewhere and then move on to other churches and ministries, Rick and his wife Linda set down roots here and ministered until his retirement in 2021 after 42 years of faithful ministry to countless people in the community.

Upon retirement, Rick continued to serve the Lord by filling in preaching duties at FCC and other churches locally as well as in Florida. He also continued serving as minister and staff member for Charles H. McIntyre Funeral Home.

Not only did Rick allow God to use him to grow His church in Felicity, but he also became a staple in the community as an EMT for the Felicity/Franklin Township Fire & EMS as well as the voice of Cardinal high school basketball as an announcer.

Please take some time to pray for his wife, Linda, daughters Rachel and Angela and their husbands and his four grandkids, as well as his extended family and friends.

Well done, good and faithful servant.

Funeral services will be here at Felicity Christian Church on Saturday, August 1. Visitation will begin at 10am followed by the funeral service at 12pm.
