This year, we have set a goal that everyONE at St. Luke's will take TWO intentional steps in each of our THREE discipleship strategies!

We have had EXACTLY 500 steps of faith shared with us! Celebrate with us as we praise God for faithful servants who are GATHERING in life together, GROWING deeper in knowledge and wonder of God's Word, and GOING to speak the Gospel with everyone around us!

If you've completed a 1-2-3 challenge step, be sure to submit it today! Our hope is that this step will continue to encourage and strengthen you in the faith given to you in baptism.

This last week, a team of 12 students and 4 adults left St. Luke's for the Silver Valley in Idaho as they served in Idaho Servant Adventures together.

Each student was placed in one of the thirteen servant groups, which helped the local community in various ways. They were helping at day camp, painting, chopping wood, delivering wood, helping a food bank, building a chapel, and serving in many other ways during this trip. Each team gave students responsibilities to follow to help them grow as servants and support their fellow neighbor.

God worked in more than just service through this trip, our students got to build relationships with the community members, each other, and other camp students from 5 other churches. They saw what it means to be the body of Christ as they got to serve together.

Thank you to everyone who has supported our youth at St. Luke's. Because of you, we are building a faith foundation for our connected youth through experiences like these.

An update from our Idaho Mission Trip Team:

"We have had the chance to serve the people of the Silver Valley in so many ways. We have 13 mission teams who go out to various job sites to chop wood, play with foster children, and work with food banks, among other activities. It's been a blessing to see how these students can be the hands and feet of Jesus in Idaho"

Last Wednesday, we celebrated our high school seniors with our youth group's senior night! It's a joy to walk in fellowship with each other week after week. We look forward to see all that they accomplish in this next chapter.
