What a beautiful and grace-filled evening at St. Vincent de Paul Parish as over 130 individuals received the Sacrament of Confirmation! ❤️🔥🕊️

Together with our sister parish, St. Theresa Parish, we gathered as one parish family to celebrate these holy men and women saying “yes” to the Holy Spirit and taking this important step in their Catholic faith journey.

Please continue to pray for all of our newly confirmed — that they may always know the love of Christ, remain rooted in their faith, and boldly use the gifts of the Holy Spirit to bring light and hope into the world.

A heartfelt thank you to our families, sponsors, catechists, clergy, volunteers, and all who helped prepare and support the faithful along the way. It was truly a joyful and sacred celebration for our parish community. 🙏

Congratulations to all of our Confirmandi!

A special message from our own Fr. Dion about this year’s Annual Catholic Appeal and how, together, we can continue the mission of Christ in the world today.

As members of the Catholic Church in Western Washington, the Annual Catholic Appeal helps support ministries that reach far beyond the walls of our parish families — from caring for the sick and accompanying those in prison, to supporting vocations, clergy, and faith formation throughout our Archdiocese.

Thank you for your prayerful and generous support. 🙏

What a beautiful and grace-filled day at our Seen. Known. Loved. Women’s Retreat at St. Vincent de Paul Parish. 💛

From the quiet moments of prayer and Adoration… to the laughter around tables… to women of all ages gathering in faith, friendship, and encouragement — there was such a deep sense of God at work in the hearts of women throughout the day.

Women were reminded that they are seen, known, and deeply loved by God right where they are. There is something powerful about being surrounded by other women who encourage one another, lift each other up, and walk together in faith with courage and joy.

A heartfelt thank you to our keynote speaker, Danielle Bean, for sharing so beautifully from her heart and reminding us of God’s love and faithfulness in every season of life.

We are also so grateful for the many helping hands, volunteers, musicians, clergy, and women of Our Lady of Joy Women’s Ministry who helped make this sacred day possible.

Keep your eyes open for future gatherings and events with Our Lady of Joy Women’s Ministry. We would love to welcome you. 💐

Happy Mother’s Day 💐

Today we give thanks for the beautiful gift of mothers and all women who love with a mother’s heart.

We honor mothers, grandmothers, godmothers, spiritual mothers, foster mothers, adoptive mothers, and all who nurture, comfort, guide, pray, and pour themselves out in love.

We also hold close those for whom this day is tender — those missing their mothers, longing to be mothers, grieving a child, or carrying quiet heartache. May our Blessed Mother wrap you in her gentle care.

Lord, bless all mothers and mother figures with strength, peace, joy, and the deep reminder that their love makes a difference every single day.

Happy Mother’s Day from your St. Vincent de Paul Parish family. 💛

“As a mother comforts her child, so I will comfort you.” — Isaiah 66:13
