Family changed our name to Boost church a few years ago and we are rocking our new facility in Federal Heights Colorado stop by on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings to hear the word of God and be with God’s people Shunning labels, because they tend to divide, we prefer to be identified as a Word Church. A Word Church places utmost importance on The Word; The Written Word, the Spoken Word, and
of course the Living Word, Jesus Christ Himself. The Word must have preeminence, holding the Place of Highest Authority among us, guiding us both in daily life, and every aspect of our church activities. Although we do hold the Old Testament in very high regard, and apply many of its principles in our Walk, we recognize that the New Testament has replaced the Old as a MEANS of approach to God. If and when we add our Faith to His Grace we realize that Jesus died for sinners, justifying every single one of us in the very Presence of God. That Grace is all-inclusive, insomuch that sin is no longer a hindrance to us as we approach the Throne of Grace. God is not angry, and all of His righteous judgement is being deferred to Christ Himself for now, until the time of judgement. The very worst sinner has ALREADY been justified in the New Testament, and our commission as His ambassadors is to convince every sinner to claim their inheritance. One must not add to that Justification through religious exercises, because these attempts to appease an angry God ignore the Grace of God. Finally we believe that our name; " Family of Faith" speaks volumes. We are a Family indeed, welcoming anyone and everyone to the same Table that we ourselves have been so richly welcomed. We hope to develop more and more into a powerful force in the community, the nation, and the world. Families grow, families love, families forgive and families take care of their own. Sometimes families disagree, and occasionally there must be correction in a family, but oneness is preserved in a family, as difficulties only serve to unite us. When we say Faith we mean Bible Faith. The same Faith that Jesus demonstrated and instructed us to use. If our Faith is the same Faith as the Faith He used, then there is no Bible reason for us to expect different results. The Family of Faith will raise the dead. The Family of Faith will feed thousands from a lunch sack. The Family of Faith will walk on water. That is our heritage, that is our future.
