PSA from Thrive Church about our weekend services and all activities next week.
As many of you have heard, Governor Polis has declared a mandatory State of Emergency for Colorado in an effort to minimize the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19). This mandate effects the public gatherings of 250 or more people, so in submitting to and cooperating with our governing authorities we are NOT HAVING SERVICES or other ministries/events (including the men’s prayer breakfast and the senior banquet) this weekend.
In an effort to be proactive we are following the current social distancing protocols and we are canceling all activities next week at the church including midweek service, after school programs, all Recovery Road classes, life groups and all other events/activities at Thrive. Our plan is to monitor the current situation closely and announce next Friday what our plan is moving forward.

Remember, the church isn’t a building, we are a body! Even though we are faced with an unprecedented situation in our nation and around the world, through prayer, intercession and technology we have the ability to stay connected and still be the church on a daily basis! We are going to be uploading very encouraging and uplifting content on our page, so check in every day!

We all need to rely on God for His guidance and pray how we can be a blessing to others in this process. Again, we believe this storm will pass and our foundation is in Christ. We will continue to fight fear with faith and speak life and not death. Instead of cursing the darkness let us shine God’s light now more than ever!
