This Sunday, we saw the beauty of a surrendered “yes” — remembering Jesus through communion, celebrating those called to serve through deacon ordination, and worshiping together as one body.

God sees every act of obedience. Every quiet step. Every faithful response.

And at Village, we’re grateful to witness what He’s doing in hearts and in His church. 🙌

One of our favorite parts of Sunday was seeing so many of you stop to grab a wristband and commit to praying for a child or student headed to camp.

Over the next two weeks, our Village Kids and Village Students will step away from their routines and into an environment designed to help them grow closer to Christ.

We believe God can do incredible things in their hearts, and we want to cover them in prayer every step of the way.

Pray for salvation.
Pray for spiritual growth.
Pray for courage to take the next step of faith.
Pray that camp would be more than just a fun week—that it would be a life-changing encounter with the Lord.

The dream was from God. The pit was part of the process.

This Sunday, we kicked off another chapter in Joseph’s story with The Dreamer and the Pit (Genesis 37). Joseph’s circumstances changed in an instant, but God’s purpose never did. When life feels unfair, uncertain, or painful, we can trust that God is still writing the story.

What a joy to gather, worship, and be reminded of His faithfulness together. 💙

The pit teaches us what comfort never could 💪 Dependence. Humility. Perseverance. Trust when we can't see what God is doing.

Cheers 👏🏼 to the Asphalt Apostles, the Ministers of the Median, and the Traffic Disciples.

Masters of the wave 👋🏼, Guardians of the crosswalk. Champions of the church parking lot.

Every Sunday, they arrive early, serve faithfully, and welcome hundreds of people with a smile. While most of us are grabbing coffee, catching up with friends, or finding our seats, these faithful volunteers are already serving.

It may look like they’re helping people navigate parking spots, but they’re really helping create space for ministry to happen.

We’re thankful for a team that points people in the right direction—literally.
