What a full first day of camp! All of our churches arrived yesterday afternoon. After check in, students headed to the student center for a Welcome Party. We enjoyed our first dinner together before worship.

Each year, we invited the lead pastor's from our local churches to preach each night. Last night we were blessed to have Larry Trotter from North Wake Church. Our theme this year is: Unveiled: The God You Can Know. We will be diving into the Trinitarian Nature of God and it's implications for the Christian life. We want students to understand and believe when God has revealed Himself to be and what He has done on our behalf. Flowing out of this is who we are as His people and the mission He invites us to join. Larry called our students not only to know the details of who God is but to enjoy Him. He invites us to share in the loving relationship He has always enjoyed within Himself. The questions we asked students: 1) Do you believe and trust in this God--Father, Son, and Holy Spirit? 2) Are you enjoying and delighting in Him?

After worship, we split into our rec teams and kicked off the competition with a game of Goose Chase (think scavenger hunt). Students are having a great time and the leaders have plenty of coffee! :) Please join us in asking God to draw students to Himself and calls students to delight in and live for Him.
