Series Theme:
God responds to hearts that are hungry, desperate, and unwilling to settle for ordinary. Throughout Scripture, miracles happened when people reached the place where desperation overcame fear, pride, comfort, and excuses. This series calls believers to move beyond casual Christianity into wholehearted pursuit of God.

There comes a moment in every believer’s life when ordinary Christianity is no longer enough.

You can have the promise and still hunger for the Promiser. You can experience yesterday’s glory and still cry out for a fresh encounter. You can see what God has done and still believe there is more.

How desperate are you?

This powerful Pentecostal sermon series challenges us to examine the depth of our hunger for God. Through the lives and experiences of biblical men and women, we will discover that desperation has a way of changing our priorities, strengthening our faith, deepening our prayer life, releasing worship, breaking chains, and preparing the way for revival.

This series is not simply about wanting more from God.

It is about wanting more of God.

We will journey through six powerful themes:

God still honors those who seek Him.

God still fills empty vessels.

God still sends fire.

And God is still looking for a people who are desperate enough to pursue Him with their whole heart.

3 AM Declaration

I declare that God is working it out for me. Every concern, every unanswered question, every closed door, and every situation beyond my control is in His hands. I will not be consumed by what I cannot see. I will trust the God who sees everything. What He has promised, He will perform. What He has started, He will finish. I will not panic—I will pray. I will not fear—I will trust. I will not quit—I will keep believing. GOD WILL WORK IT OUT!

Church, on this last Saturday of August, I want to declare this over the Destiny Rising Church family:

As we look toward September the **9th month of the year and a month many associate with birthing, I declare that what God has been developing in you will not die in the hidden place. What He planted, He is bringing forth. What He promised, He is preparing to manifest. What you have carried in faith, you are getting ready to see with your eyes.

I declare that September will not be a month of mere anticipation—it will be a month of manifestation!

I declare new beginnings, divine alignment, accelerated movement, spiritual maturity, fresh vision, and kingdom expansion.

The labor may have been intense, but the purpose is greater than the pain. The waiting was not wasted. The pressure was not pointless. The preparation was not punishment. You have been carrying something! And I declare over every DRC family member:

You will not abort what God ordained.
You will not give up before the manifestation.
You will not mistake labor for failure.
You will not trade your promise for temporary relief.

September, we are coming into you with expectation! May God breathe upon every dream, every assignment, every ministry, every family, every business, and every promise He has placed in our hands. What has been forming in the spirit is about to become visible in the natural.

DRC, prepare yourself.

THE WOMB IS OPEN.
THE TIME IS RIGHT.
THE PROMISE IS ALIVE.
AND WE ARE ABOUT TO GIVE BIRTH TO WHAT GOD HAS BEEN DEVELOPING IN US!

GET YOUR POWER BACK

Some of you have been giving away your power to things God never called you to carry. You gave your peace to people. You gave your joy to circumstances. You gave your confidence to criticism. You gave your focus to yesterday.

But today, it’s time to take it back! The enemy wants you distracted, discouraged, and emotionally drained, but you have Holy Ghost power on the inside of you. You don’t have to keep living defeated. You don’t have to keep rehearsing what happened. You don’t have to keep allowing yesterday to control today. Get your power back. Get your focus back. Get your faith back. Get your fire back!

You are not powerless. You are not forgotten. You are not finished.

RISE UP! The power God put in you is still there. 🔥

Prophetic Declaration

I declare that I will not abandon the process because I cannot yet see the promise. I will trust God’s positioning, embrace His preparation, and remain faithful in the place He has assigned me. What God is developing in me will prepare me for what He is releasing through me. I am moving from preparation to manifestation, from process to promise, and from where I have been to where God is taking me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Sunday Night Service...I'm Proof

There are some things you can explain. There are some things you can debate. There are some things you can defend. But there are some things you simply have to testify about! Because when somebody asks, “How did you make it?” You may not have a theological explanation. You may not know every detail of what God did. But you can lift your hands and say:
“I’M PROOF!”
I am proof that God is a healer. I am proof that God is a deliverer. I am proof that God can keep you when you should have lost your mind. I am proof that God can restore what life tried to destroy. I am proof that the enemy can attack you without having the authority to finish you! I’m still here—not because I was always strong, but because God was always faithful! The devil thought the trial would become my testimony of defeat. But God turned my trial into evidence.
