The pollutant of concern is fine particulate matter, also referred to as PM2.5.
AIR QUALITY FORECAST: Unhealthy for sensitive groups who may experience health effects from air pollution (particle pollution). The general public is not likely to be affected.
What Should I Do?
Sensitive groups: Make outdoor activities shorter and less intense. It’s OK to be active outdoors, but take more breaks. Watch for symptoms such as coughing or shortness of breath. People with
COPD and asthma will have a rough few days. Stay inside as much as possible. Use your medications as directed. Call 911 or your doctor if you are getting worse.
People with heart disease: Symptoms such as palpitations, shortness of breath, or unusual fatigue may indicate a serious problem. If you have any of these, contact your health care provider.
