NEW SUMMER STUDY BEGINS SUNDAY, JUNE 5th

Hello all,

I am beyond excited to begin a new study on Pentecost for a total of eight weeks. The study is a deep dive into the Holy Spirit with Amos Yong's book, "Who is the Holy Spirit? A Walk with the Apostles". Each week, the sermons will explore themes and insights from the passages that Yong discusses in his book. Then on Mondays at 1:30 pm in the Fellowship Building (beginning June 6th), all are welcome to get together for a Bible Study. Copies of "Who is the Holy Spirit?" were generously paid for by an anonymous member and available at the church office for anyone who would like a copy.

Please read part one this week in preparation for Sunday and Monday's study. I'm grateful to Mike McFarland for starting this series while I'm away with my family in Colorado for a family wedding.

Lots going on this week!

1. Lent begins tomorrow! Please join us for our Ash Wednesday service (March 2nd). It will be held at noon in the sanctuary.

2. YOU'RE INVITED to attend a new small group that starts tonight (March 1st) at 7 pm at the parsonage! This group will go through the Alpha video series experience, which is a discussion-based journey of exploring the big questions of life and how the Christian faith makes sense of them.

3. For Bethany's leadership, the board of stewards meets on Thursday (March 3rd) at 7 pm.
