Today, we want to celebrate and recognize those who are committed to abstinence to please God. Choosing to abstain from certain behaviors, whether it be abstaining from drugs and alcohol or abstaining from sexual activity, is a decision that can have a profound impact on our relationship with God.
As Christians, we are called to honor God with our bodies and our actions. When we choose to abstain from behaviors that are not in alignment with God's will, we are not only strengthening our relationship with Him, but we are also demonstrating our faith and obedience to Him.
We know that making the decision to abstain can be difficult, especially when others around you may not understand or support your choice. But we want you to know that God sees you and He admires your commitment to living a life that is pleasing to Him.
Abstinence is not just about saying "no" to something, it's about saying "yes" to God and His plan for our lives. It's about prioritizing our faith and choosing to live a life that aligns with His values and goals for us. We believe that those who choose to abstain in order to please God are some of the most faithful and devoted people out there.
So, to all of you who are committed to abstinence in order to please God, we want to say thank you. Thank you for inspiring us with your devotion and faithfulness. Thank you for showing us that it's possible to live a life that honors God in every aspect. And thank you for being an example of what it means to live with faith, obedience, and purpose.
