On a Mission for Christ is a Global ministry under the leadership of Pastor Veryl Howard the Founder and Bishop David Perrin the Overseer. It was founded as a result of God stating that he needed a house open to his direction and not man's direction with respect to winning souls over to Jesus. God called the visionary and spoke, He wanted a house that would seek him so his prescence could draw the
hurting soul to his son Jesus without the comestic layers of the world's precepts. When hearing this, Pastor Howard left all she had in her hometown to start the ministry in Fayetteville, NC. God mandated to her that the ministry had to be a house clean with hysopp and flowing in love to all that walked through the doors searching for Christ. Through prayer and the power of God, the house was preordained by God to minister the unadulterated word with no emphasis on man's ideology but all emphasis on God's message. It is a ministry dedicated to ministering to the hurting soul with emphasis on resurrection through Christ Jesus. It is a house that is not bound by religiousity but bound to Kingdom Godly principles. The members are taught to be disciples with a mindset of allowing God to shape their destiny and purpose verses the world dictating their outcome. Driven by the word of God, this church is not "churchy" but open to the move of God, thus not limiting God in His infinite possibilities. We believe in the five-fold ministry as it relates to Ephesians 4:11 (Apostles, Prophets, Evangelist, Pastors & Teachers for the perfecting of the saints). We also believe that through Christ only the sheep can live a renewed holy life that is exemplatory of the power of God. We inspire the sheep to be loving and open about what God has delivered them from so a trouble soul can get their breakthrough.The body of Christ has been strapped too long by the tricks of the enemy and we believe God has come to unloose the chains of bondage. People are set free through God's miraculous hand in the areas of healing, deliverance, prophecy, miracles,the WORD and more. The breathe of God is welcomed at On A Mission for Christ. It is not a church of habitual behavior but one of humility to receive the direction from the Lord as His Shekinah Glory Cloud rest over the house. His Glory is available to all cultures in this ministry as God has mandated it to be a nondiscriminatory house where those seeking a true relationship with Jesus are welcome despite their ethnicity,size, money, intellect, deformity,lack or anything that would cause them to be shunned. We are an outreach house dedicated to reaching souls Globally through the word of God. We have partners in countries such as; Africa, Puerto Rico, Grenada, Ireland, Canada, Bahamas,Tortola, Bermuda, Trinidad & Tabago, Aruba and across the globe with respect to our mission mandate. By all means we are a house that is free and will not be restricted by the doctrines of this world. Members are encouraged to move out in their gifting and not be ashamed of who God has called them to be. Therefore, if you are looking for a church that is just raw and Kingdom minded with openness and love then this is the ministry for you.You are welcome to explore the mysteries of the Kingdom of God as he leads us in his ways and wisdom. But you must not come to evaluate or depreciate the Glory of God but come to have a true worship encounter with Jehovah Abba Father and you may just get your breakthrough.
