Sometimes silence is not weakness. Sometimes silence is obedience.
Before God told Israel to shout, He first commanded them to be silent. For six days they walked without explaining, defending, proving, or announcing. Why? Because sometimes God will silence your mouth before He releases your sound.
Silence protects you from contaminating the atmosphere with unbelief. Silence keeps you from explaining what God has not asked you to explain. Silence trains you to move without needing immediate validation.
There are moments when God is not asking you to defend the process. He is asking you to obey it.
Because when the time comes to shout, your sound cannot be mixed with fear, frustration, or the need to be understood.
Part 1 of "You Can't Stay Silent" reminded us: Before God releases the sound, He develops the discipline.
