Dear God,
thank you so much for this Good Friday. Jesus, today I pause
and remember the cross.
I remember the sacrifice You made, the pain You endured, and the love You showed for me.

Thank You for taking my place.
Thank You for carrying my sin, my shame, and my brokenness.
Because of You, I am forgiven. Because of You, I am free.

Help me never take the cross for granted. Remind me daily of the depth of Your love and the power of Your grace.

Teach me to live with a grateful heart, to walk in humility,
and to reflect Your love to others.

Today, I honor You, Jesus.
Today, I remember what You
did for me.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Holy Week Thursday

Around the table, Jesus gave them bread and called it His body. He lifted the cup and called it His blood. There was a new covenant, sealed in love.

Then He did the unthinkable.
He knelt and washed their feet.
Even the one who would betray Him.

This is what love looks like.
It's humble, sacrificial, undeserved.

And in the garden, under the weight of what was to come, He surrendered when he said, “Not my will, but Yours.”

Today we remember--
Love is sacrificial.
Love is service.
Love is surrender.

Let us love like you, Lord Jesus.
