🕊️ Rest in Peace: Kenny Stoughton 🙏

💔 Condolences to the family of Kenneth Stoughton, 63, of Hope Mills, following the fatal motorcycle collision Sunday morning.

🏍️ Fayetteville Police said Stoughton was operating a motorcycle involved in a two-vehicle collision around 9:58 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 16, on Legion Drive at Legion Park Avenue.

🇺🇸 Stoughton served in the military and, although not originally from the Fayetteville area, had become a longtime local resident and member of the community.

🚛 He also spent time working as a truck driver and, more recently, worked at Harley-Davidson. His connection to motorcycles extended beyond riding, making him familiar to others within the local motorcycle community.

❤️ His family described him as a loving family man who served his country and community and would have given the shirt off his back to help someone in need.

💚 Following his unexpected passing, we ask the community to consider supporting his wife and family as they grieve and navigate this difficult time.

⚠️ Police Respond to Motorcycle Collision, One Life Loss, Now Under Investigation In Fayetteville

🏍️ Fayetteville Police are investigating a serious two-vehicle collision involving a motorcycle that occurred Sunday morning near Southern Avenue/ Legion Road.

🕙 Officers responded around 9:58 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 16, to the collision near Legion Park Avenue.

🕊️ Sadly, one person did not survive the crash. Their identity is being withheld at this time as authorities work to notify their family.

🙏 Our thoughts are with the family and loved ones affected by this loss, as well as everyone impacted by the incident.

👮 The collision remains under active investigation, and additional information will be released as it becomes available.
