On Wednesday night, our Christmas carol was Away in a Manger. The kids learned about the Peace that came during the birth of our Savior! They practiced holding Baby Jesus and made lovely ornaments!

🎄We kicked off our Christmas Season with learning about what brings us JOY! 🎉 We sang, decorated and did a little role playing about when the angel came to tell the good news! What would you have done if an angel appeared to you to tell you would have a baby?? The Savior of the World! Would you have Joy?

This week we talked about how Thanksgiving began many years ago but as Christians we should be thankful all year long! We also discussed the story in the Bible of the leaper who was healed and how thankful he was! What are you thankful for today?

The kids made Thankful Turkeys to have as centerpieces for our Family Thanksgiving tables next week! 🦃🍁🙌🏼

This Wednesday, the kids concluded our Fall Festival unit! 🎉🎃 We talked about letting our light shine by serving others, going the extra mile even when it’s not convenient for us, inviting our friends to church and sharing Jesus! We also enjoyed some fall snacks! We celebrated by playing all of our fall festival games one last time! What a fun night!! 🍿🧁🎃🎣
