At Epicenter church, one of the points in our code is, "we are about the numbers!" Not because numbers are everything, but because numbers can communicate something important.

We have experienced 20% overall growth so far this year compared to last year!! However, only 10% of our average weekly attendance is volunteering in our Ekids ministries.

We want to take care of our volunteers AND the children God has entrusted us with. So, to prevent burnout and ensure safe numbers, we need over 100+ people to say YES to Ekids or Ekids Jr. just ONCE a month to match this INCREDIBLE growth God has been blessing us with. Will you be one of those yeses?

Sign up to be a volunteer and join the vision here ๐Ÿ‘‰ https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfv4zmWrryFo6eT4-tdArfelvf_CX_-ANXn7g-iKVrNjEjhhA/viewform?usp=sharing&ouid=117091205166713567766

Commemorating Memorial Day ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

This Sunday we had a moment of prayer and acknowledgment in honor of Memorial Day, but as always, we also included the display of the Missing Man Table.

The symbolism of the Missing Man Table:๏ฟฝ
The table is round, to show our everlasting concern for our missing men.

The cloth is white, symbolizing the purity of their motives when answering the call to serve.

The single red rose; displayed in a vase, reminds us of the lives of these Americans and their loved ones and friends who keep the faith while seeking answers.

The red ribbon symbolizes our continued determination to account for our missing.

A slice of lemon reminds us of their bitter fate; captured and missing in a foreign land.

A pinch of salt symbolizes the tears of our missing and their families who long for answers after decades of uncertainty.

The lighted candle reflects our hope for their return, alive or dead.

The Bible represents the strength gained through faith to sustain us and those lost from our country, founded as one nation under God.

The glass is inverted, symbolizing their inability to share a toast.

The chair is empty, the seat that remains unclaimed at the table.
