Given the new Covid-19 guidance restricting indoor gathering limit of 10, Hindu Bhavan is cancelling the in person event for this weekend.
Panditji will still conduct the Pooja and the congregation can join in virtually via Facebook Live or follow his directions on Zoom

Due to the short notice, for those of you who have already made prasad items for the Annakoot, if you would like to drop them off at the temple, feel free to hand those over to Panditji during regular temple hours.

Items recommended for pooja at home:
- Red cloth draped over a patlo/choki and place some rice on it and on the rice, place Lakshmiji and/or Sri Yantra. Beside it place any important documents/papers/red inked pen.
- kalash with coconut and leaves on the choki as well.
- panchamrit; milk, yogurt, ghee, honey and sugar.
- Pooja - kumkum, chandan, abil, gulaal, turmeric, rice, red thread, flowers, garland, paan, tulsi, fruits, prasad and nuts.
- bowls, spoons, plates, napkins, aasan.

Hindu Bhavan Temple, Fayetteville is inviting you to participate in a ‘Virtual Garba’ Competition. Since there are no large gatherings this year, we want to offer an opportunity to the Garba enthusiasts to still get dressed and perform.

Following rules will apply:
*** Participant should submit a video clip of 90 seconds or less to 910-824-0095 via WhatsApp or email to [email protected]; *BEFORE 30 OCT-2020*. Only one video clip per participant is allowed and clip should be in original form - no editing with special app. Videos will be reviewed by an independent 3 judge panel.

***Judging criteria:
A) Costume
B) Garba action/style

***One male and one female winner in each of the following categories:
A) 3 to 7 Years
B) 8 to 18 Years
C) 18 to 35 Years
D) 36 to 65 Years
E) 65 years and above
F) Best Couple
G) Best Small Group

***Results and prizes will be announced on 31-OCT-2020 at the time of the Boo Fest.
