Don't let chores become a battleground or drudgery. Consider serving at home as an important lesson for raising our children to have a servant heart as adults. Harp's Crossing Family Ministry wants to congratulate Hannah Cooke who has been selected as one of the four Acteens across the US to be a National Acteens Panelist.

In 2026 she will represent Acteens here in Georgia and at the 2026 WMU Missions Celebration and Annual Meeting in Orlando right before the SBC Convention.

She will receive a grant from the Jessica Powell Loftis Endowment through the WMU Foundation.

A quote from The National WMU Ministry Consultant for Acteens says, "These women are not the 'NEXT' generation, they are the 'NOW' generation."

NEW YEAR, NEW PARENTING HACKS
We trade fear-based parenting for love, swap screens for presence, and build a simple family mission that kids can repeat and live. We also share practical ways to read more, talk about money, and tithe in view so generosity becomes normal.

• choosing calm, explained discipline over fear
• setting no-phone zones and nightly charging spots
• using a “phone cage” 4:30–7:30 for dinner and homework
• starting a short family mission, tagline, and four values
• adding Scripture and fun to guide daily choices
• building reading habits to grow thinking and empathy

• encouraging teen work to build responsibility and confidence
