To night at Celebrate Recovery we are going through lesson 7. It focuses on the necessity of a sponsor to guide your recovery, offering accountability, mentorship, and support against relapse. A sponsor is a same-gender mentor who has completed the 12 steps and helps you work through the 4 participant's guides, acting as a "coach" for your journey.

Tonight we are going through Sanity lesson. It focuses on Principle 2: believing God can restore sanity to lives broken by harmful habits and choices. It defines sanity as wholesome thinking and, in Step 2, encourages shifting from self-destructive, repetitive behaviors (insanity) to trusting God's power. The lesson emphasizes moving from chaos to hope through spiritual growth and accepting God's help to manage life.

Hello everyone we are going to cancel service for Sunday 2/1. Based on all the weather forecasts, I think it’s the right thing to do. Both Sampson and Cumberland County have issued a state of emergency due to the storm.
The sermon for Sunday will be posted at 11 AM so we can all worship together online.
