🇺🇸 September 11, 2001 — We Remember.🇺🇲

It’s easy, after 25 years, to think of September 11 as a date in a history book or a number—2,977.

But behind that number were mothers and fathers, sons and daughters, husbands and wives, friends, coworkers, and neighbors. They had plans for that day. They had people waiting for them to come home.

They never did.

We remember the lives that were lost, the families who were forever changed, and the men and women who showed extraordinary courage in the face of unimaginable circumstances.

2,977 lives. 25 years. Never forgotten.

Today we remember Charlie Kirk—his courage, his convictions, and especially the faith that he said mattered most in his life.

Whatever our political beliefs may be, assassination because of what someone believes is not an American principle, and it is wrong. In America, we should be able to disagree, debate, and speak freely without resorting to violence.

When asked how he wanted to be remembered, Charlie said: “I want to be remembered for courage, for my faith. That would be the most important thing. The most important thing is my faith.”

May we remember the importance of standing courageously for what we believe, while also remembering that our differences should never lead us to hate or harm one another.

🇺🇸 Our 9/11 flag display is coming together!

We’re putting out 2,977 American flags—one for each life lost on September 11, 2001. Come out tomorrow or Thursday and help us plant the rest! Parents, if you're in the parking lot waiting for students to dismiss, feel free to hop out and place a few flags while you wait!

But don’t wait too long to pitch in… there may not be any left to put out before too long! 🇺🇸

Join us in wishing Pastor and Mrs. Grimes a very happy 53rd anniversary!

On Sunday, our church family had the privilege of honoring them with a special gift—a plaque designating our new Missions House as the Polly-Madeline House, in honor of their mothers.

We’re so thankful for their years of faithful service and the godly example they have been to so many. Please help us wish them a happy anniversary today!

What a wonderful chapel service this morning!

Evangelist Ben Everson blessed us with both music and preaching, and we’re thankful for the opportunity our students had to hear and learn from him.

Our Safari teams also received their new T-shirts and found out the results of the first round of points! 🦓🦒 🦁🐊The Zebras are off to an early lead!

We’re looking forward to seeing how the Safari unfolds! 🐾

We’ve truly enjoyed having Evangelist Ben Everson with us this week! We’re thankful for the music, preaching, and encouragement he has shared with us so far.

We’re looking forward to another great service tonight, followed by a full day tomorrow with Academy Chapel at 10:15 AM and another evening service.

If you’ve missed any of the services this week, be sure to catch the livestream replays! All three messages so far have been excellent and a tremendous encouragement. We’re looking forward to what the Lord has for us in the services still to come!

What a wonderful Sunday!

We were blessed with excellent preaching, beautiful music, and sweet fellowship throughout the day. Our choir also enjoyed hearing from Bro. Everson during their first choir practice back after summer break. And the best part? There’s still more to come tonight!

Join us this evening for more Christ-honoring music and another great message from Evangelist Ben Everson. We’re looking forward to another encouraging service tonight at 7 PM!
