I’m asking my community to help us rally around a mother and her two children who urgently need the Body of Christ right now.
A young mother in Pennsylvania reached out to Faith on Wheels Ministries after dealing with a domestic violence situation. She escaped with her daughter and son to get them to safety.
Out of respect for their privacy and protection, I will not be sharing their identities.
As this mother fled domestic violence, her daughter is also carrying the unimaginable trauma of sexual assault at the hands of the same individual they were forced to escape. Her son has also been displaced by this tragedy and is walking through the uncertainty and emotional weight that comes with losing everything familiar. This family has experienced unimaginable trauma, yet they are courageously choosing safety and the hope of a new beginning.
A local program has covered their hotel through Monday. After that, they have nowhere to go.
The cost to keep this family safely housed for the next 30 days is $3,462.99 (including taxes). During that time, she’ll be working with local resources to secure employment, transportation, and permanent housing.
Because of this crisis, she has lost her job, lost her home, has no vehicle, and lives in an area without public transportation. Right now, she doesn’t just need prayers—she needs the tangible love of Christ shown through His people.

Pray for this mother to have strength and wisdom. Pray for her daughter’s healing from the trauma she has endured. Pray for her son as he navigates this incredibly difficult season. Pray for open doors, divine provision, safe housing, employment, transportation, and that God would surround this family with people who will walk beside them every step of the way.
