📖 The scripture says in Jeremiah 3:15, 'I will give you shepherds after my own heart. (a)
📌 I want to submit to you that your pastor is not a perfect individual, but they are constantly striving for perfection. Understanding the heart of your pastor is to understand the heart of Christ.
Being 'after God’s own heart' means there are shared interests, values, and a deep connection. Your pastor is chosen by God for their alignment with His divine will, even if they’re not flawless.
What if I told you that your investment in your leader directly impacts your response time with God? We can’t mistreat what God loves and claim to love Him. How do you treat what He cherishes? If your leader is grieving, are you not also in a grieving pattern?
I encourage you to challenge yourself: be an investment alongside your leader. Where their heart is, whether it's in ministry, outreach missions, or any endeavor they undertake, be the investment they can trust. When you invest—whether through your time (how much you can do), talents(doing what you’re good at), or treasures(being an financial investor)—you will witness the fulfillment of God’s promises.
🙏🏾 If you serve His heart well, He will ensure your desires are met in return!
