Today, we pause to remember the lives lost and the countless families, first responders, service members, and communities forever changed by the events of September 11, 2001.

As we remember, may we also reflect on the courage, compassion, and unity that emerged in the midst of tragedy. We pray for those who continue to carry the weight of that day, and we honor the lives and sacrifices that must never be forgotten.

At Simon Temple AME Zion Church, we believe everyone should have the opportunity to fully experience, engage in, and participate in worship.

We are pleased to share that our 8:30 AM Worship Experience is intentionally designed with our Deaf community in mind. An American Sign Language (ASL) interpreter will be available to help ensure that every part of the worship experience—from prayer and praise to the preached Word—can be received and experienced fully.

To our Deaf members, families, friends, and guests: there is a place for you at Simon Temple. We want you to worship freely, participate completely, and know that you are a valued part of our church family.
