Brother 2 Brother was honored to have the opportunity to spend time and share with the wonderful residents at Fayette Long Term Care.

We are grateful for the warm welcome, meaningful conversations, and the chance to bring encouragement, fellowship, and smiles to those we met. Moments like these remind us of the importance of serving others and strengthening connections within our community.

Thank you to everyone that joined us at the Forum! We truly appreciated all of our candidates from the Revenue Commissioner and Superintendent race taking the time to participate in the forum yesterday evening and share their perspectives with the community. A big thank you to everyone who attended, asked questions, and helped make this event possible. We especially want to thank the Fayette Civic Center for hosting, The Alabama News Wire for helping spread the word, the panel for asking the candidates questions, and the Fayette Junior City Council for preparing the questions for our candidates.
Good luck to all of our candidates on Tuesday! We encourage every voter to get out and make their voice heard!!

To answer several common questions about the upcoming forum:

Q: Will the public be able to submit questions of concern?
A: Yes. Members of the Junior City Council will collect questions from the public between 5:30 p.m. and 5:55 p.m. Questions will be reviewed to avoid repetition and to ensure they relate to the position for which the candidates are running.

Q: Will the forum be livestreamed?
A: Yes. The forum will be livestreamed by The Alabama News Wire.

Q: Who will be asking the questions?
A: A panel of educators from outside Fayette County will present questions submitted by members of the public.

Q: What is the goal of this event?
A: The purpose of this forum is to help voters learn more about the candidates, especially those they may be less familiar with, and to encourage voter participation in the upcoming runoff election. The initial primary election saw approximately 38% voter turnout, and turnout for the runoff is currently projected to be around 25% countywide.
