In 2011 Holy Trinity Lutheran Church celebrated its 50th Anniversary after the merging of two congregations: St. Peter's Lutheran Church of Farnhamville (1888-1961) and Christ Lutheran Church of rural Churdan (1884-1961). The church building was constructed in 1963.
