Please come join our THREE NIGHT REVIVAL on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, August 6th, 7th, and 8th. Both the Cumberland and Guinea congregations will host this event. The services will be held at 7pm at the Cumberland location. A freewill offering will be collected, The theme of this year's revival is SPIRITUAL RENEWAL.

A Blessed Evening of Song: Joe McAlister and "Handpicked" Bring Fellowship and Faith to Cumberland Presbyterian Church
On Saturday, June 20, 2026, the sanctuary of Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Farmville, VA, was filled with a powerful spirit of fellowship and joy. Members of our congregation and neighbors from the community gathered together for a wonderfully uplifting evening of Christian Country Bluegrass music, headlined by the talented Joe McAlister and "Handpicked" and a special soloist performance by Brian Kirby. It was a night where exceptional acoustic music and heartfelt worship came together perfectly, reminding everyone in attendance of the deep joy found in Christian community.
We extend our deepest gratitude to the musicians, the event organizers, and everyone who came out to make this night of fellowship so memorable. We look forward to welcoming neighbors to more uplifting events at Cumberland and Guinea Presbyterian Churches in the future!

Cumberland and Guinea Presbyterian Churches will host a Free Christian Country/Bluegrass Concert with Joe McAlister and his band Handpicked at 7:00pm, and will be held at Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 1835 Cumberland Rd., Farmville, VA 23901.

Thank you to the amazing 46 volunteers, from six churches and students from Hampton Sydney College, who made the third consecutive year, Rise Against Hunger, a great success!! Over 10,000 meals were packaged in two hours to fight global hunger. Thank you to all who organized the event and provided lunch for all the volunteers.
