Farmville Catholic Campus Ministries CCM is open to all students who attend Longwood University and Hampden-Sydney College.

Farmville CCM aims to unite young adult Catholics at Longwood University and Hampden-Sydney College and provide chances to explore the Faith with spiritual growth.

After years of watching families struggle to incorporate faith while navigating the pressures of life, Fr. Tochi Iwuji founded Family on a Journey. Fr. Tochi, director of the diocesan Office for Black Catholics and a family and marriage counselor, saw the need for families to participate in faith formation together, rather than separating into men, women, and children, to revive their faith and bring God back into their lives.

The community allows families to deepen their faith while united together and grow in fellowship with other Catholic families. Since its founding in 2025, the program now has a dozen families participating.
