September 21, 2025 Job 1:20-22 Pastor Cetric Gayles “Learning to worship when you are weary.”

What happens when life throws you a curve ball. When you come to church your demeanor reveals that you are not in the mood to worship God. Let’s look at Job. God ask Satan have you consider my servant Job. Satan told God remove that hedge from around Job and he will curse you to your face. Job says that you still can worship God when you are weary. Look at Job 1:20-22. And he said: “Naked I came from my mother’s womb,And naked shall I return there.The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away;Blessed be the name of the Lord.” --Job 1:21. Our life circumstances may change, but God is still the same. These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” --John 16:33 God is still worthy of praise. The Happiness of Those Who Trust in GodI will bless the Lord at all times;His praise shall continually be in my mouth. --Psalms 34:1

This invite comes as we continue to celebrate living life to the fullest because of the greatness of Jesus the Christ, and not a time of a Home going because of Life already lived.
Pastor Gayle and the Cornerstone Baptist Church extends this invite to share in our Homecoming and Family and Friends Day.
Sunday September 28, 2025 Sunday school starting at 9:30 and Worship start at 11:00 am.
Fellowship will follow immediately after worship service.
Our Revival service begin on Monday September 29 and ends Wednesday October 01, 2025. Prayer and praise starts at 7:00 pm and Worship service at 7:30 pm.
