“The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.”

We bow our heads in humble submission to the will of our Father. Wednesday, September 2, 2026, God picked a beautiful flower and welcomed her back home. Mrs. Ruth Clark, affectionately known to Pastor Gay and church family as “Mama Ruth” transitioned from earth to glory. She is the mother of our own Missionary Marie Brumfield and we’ve adopted her into our lives, where she’s been an inspiration and supporter to New Flame, the Late Pastor Novey Wiley, and Spirit of Life church family. Her sweet voice, kindness, gentleness and laughter will be missed. May God comfort the Clark and Brumfield family during this time. We trust that He will continue to strengthen the family with His love.

Today, we pause to celebrate a Man of God, who God has sent to lead us. Pastor, your life is a blessing, a testimony, a gift, and we certainly are grateful for you. 🎉HAPPY 45th BIRTHDAY🎉 Superintendent Gay! May God continue to bless and keep you. May He continue to encourage, strengthen and protect you. May all that you pour out be given back to you that you may not have room enough to receive it. We love you and we appreciate you!
