Last night's Bible study was a side quest!

Last week the question was to ask weather or not we were guarding out hearts!

So this week we explored what protecting our hearts means, and how God has given us armor to dress in daily! We discussed how we access that armor and how it can be used in out lives today!

Privately and publicly!

I encourage you to write scripture on your heart for when you need it this week!

Ephesians 6:10-18

The Armor of God

10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

What are you feeding your heart and mind?

If you struggle with anxiety, depression, and rage.., are you feeding you mind those things?

Are you mindful of what you are consuming?
- Entertainment
- People you associate with
- Emotions you allow - this includes the music you listen to. Hearing angry music brings angry feelings, sad music, invites us to feel sad...

Last night at our Bible study we focused on

The youth of this nation have been taught to stand up and stand on their faith by men like Charlie Kirk. Millions have been emboldened by his message, and now in the aftermath of his heinous assassination they are seeing it as a wake up call. We must raise up the truth in God's word and share the gospel that our Lord, and men like Charlie stand on.

Lord, we praise you for the life Charlie lived, for all those You impacted through him. We pray, and know You will keep Your guiding hand on his wife and children in their time of grief. Comfort them and carry them in this season. We know that Charlie stands with You in paradise now, and that his martyring will not be in vain. In the Lord Christ's name, Amen.
