Elm Street Church, Farmington, NH

Elm Street Church, Farmington, NH The Elm Street Church was founded as The Farmington Pentecostal Church by Rev. John H. Sindorf and a small group of members in August of 1951.

The church continued to be pastored by Rev. Sindorf until he suffered a debilitating stroke in 1994. Since that time, his son Jonathan has taken on the role of pastor. The church was an independent Pentecostal church until several years ago when Pastor Jonathan and the current membership decided to change the name and denominational label. The reason is that the teachings and vision of the church

had changed to mainstream evangelical. The church from its inception to the present has been on the forefront of unique ministries and outreaches, beginning with the first full Sunday School program in Farmington; a prison and jail ministry for many years; and a coffeehouse ministry. The Elm Street Church sees itself as not being in competition with other churches, but rather co-laborers in the Lord's vineyard. We encourage you to join us for worship on Sunday mornings at 10:00am, or for our once a monthly coffeehouse night. Please visit our page for scheduled events.

For unto us a Child is born,
Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Isaiah 9:6
