Farmington UMC A United Methodist Church Farmington United Methodist Church (UMC) has been a part of the Farmington community since 1878. Sunday service begins at 10:00 am.

We are a small, but devoted congregation. We believe the good news about Jesus is that all are welcome at God's table, and no one has the right to turn anyone else away, for any reason whatsoever. We are oriented around loving God and our neighbor, and loving our neighbor means that whatever your life-style, your language, your lacks, your likes, or your loves, we have a chair ready for you

Earl is searching for cheese, asking his wife where she put it. She confidently tells him it’s in the fridge. Earl checks but claims it’s not there. His wife, unfazed, instructs him to look again. In the final panel, Earl opens the fridge and is instantly hit by the falling cheese, which lands on his face with a “plop.” He then announces with comedic satisfaction that he has found it. This strip plays on the classic trope of people (often men) struggling to find things even when they are right in front of them, making for a hilariously relatable moment
