Hope Lutheran Church is a vibrant Christian community in which God's people join together as we grow in our understanding of God's purpose for our lives as followers of Jesus Christ. You'll notice people wearing a wide assortment of attire, ranging from suits and business casual clothing to jeans and t-shirts. Sunday school program every Sunday at 9:25 am from September through May. We also encour

age children to worship at 8:15 or 11:00am with their families. Hope possesses the right to remove posts that are:

- Indecent, obscene, threatening, harassing, discriminatory, abusive, Third derogatory or misleading
- Violating the rights of others - in particular personal, copyright or another person’s privacy rights
- Links, text and/or images that are advertisements of third parties – could be presented in the form of spam
- Actions that affect the proper functioning of Facebook and/or Hope, as well as any form of posting that could contain harmful viruses.

Looking for something meaningful to experience this September? Holy Cross is hosting the True Black History Museum, a traveling exhibit titled A Tribute to the African American Journey. Featuring more than 150 artifacts and documents from the 1600s to the present, this powerful exhibit has traveled to 40 states and reached more than a million people. A special thank-you to BRRICK for sponsoring this event and helping bring this important experience to our community!

Following the unanimous recommendations of the Personnel Committee and Strategic Planning Council, Hope Lutheran Church will consider extending Pastor Amy Cooley-Higgs a regular, continuing call. Her current two-year call expires in September, and the congregation will vote on the recommendation at a Special Congregational Meeting on Sunday, August 23, immediately following the 9:30 a.m. combined worship service. A minimum of 50 voting members must be present to conduct the vote, and all voting members are encouraged to attend.
