In these challenging and difficult times, we are committed to following the guidelines of our State and Federal Authorities by limiting attendance at funerals. We have received many calls and emails from friends and extended family members of the deceased asking what to do if they can’t attend the funeral service. Here is a good article that offers several suggestions, while sending flowers is not a Jewish tradition, the rest of the ideas in the article are relevant.

If you're not able to attend a funeral service, there are ways that you can still show your support for the grieving family.

Looks like Paris is getting its first Green Cemetery. This is very similar to Jewish Burials.

At Paris's first green cemetery, wooden grave markers will replace headstones because of their lower carbon footprint.

We have received our new 2019 - 2020 Jewish Calendars. The calendars are adorned with beautiful works of Jewish Art and give the dates of all the Jewish Holidays for the upcoming year. Please feel free to stop in and ask for a calendars. Anyone in the community is welcome to one.
