Hurry and RSVP to [email protected] for Tru Fire Kidmin Training Day on Nov. 11 at Brightmoor Christian Church in Novi, MI!!! Kenny Cheeseman & Brandon Diehl can’t wait to show you his new Kidmin Facility!!!
What is Tru Fire?
Almost two years ago, the Assemblies of God released Tru Fire, a new children’s church curriculum specifically designed for Pentecostal churches. Tru Fire equips leaders with Spirit-empowered lessons that help students engage with God and respond to Him through the power of the Holy Spirit. Since then, so many families, kids, and pastors have been blessed by it.
What is the Tru Fire Training Experience?
Kidmin leaders and volunteers will engage in a Tru Fire lesson and experience what a child would on a typical Sunday at children’s church. Afterward, we’ll go over what we saw and share the “secret sauce” behind the creation of the curriculum. This training is to help give children’s leaders a snapshot into this new curriculum.
Who should I invite to this training?
The primary targeted audience for this training experience are children’s leaders and volunteers who don’t currently use Tru Fire but are interested in learning about a new children’s church curriculum. With that said, however, existing Tru Fire users will benefit as well as they strive to increase their effectiveness with the curriculum.
Is there a BONUS training session?
Yes! In addition to the Tru Fire Experience, we are also offering the workshop "Sticky Lessons: Top 10 Ways to make a lesson stick with kids.” If you are interested in having Sticky Lessons presented as well, please notify us.
What will the audience learn in the Sticky Lessons Workshop?
Description: Have you ever wondered why kids can’t remember what you taught them last week? The good news is, there are very practical ways that teachers can begin to make lessons more sticky. Come join us for this fun and interactive workshop where we will discover how to deliver lessons that engage and stick with all of God’s learners.
What is the duration of the Tru Fire Experience & Sticky Lessons presentation?
It is best to plan on about 1.5 hours for EACH training session for a total of 3 hours of training. While times can be adjusted, we would recommend the following schedule if you would prefer BOTH training sessions:
• 10-11:30am Tru Fire Experience
• 11:45-12:45pm Lunch
• 1:00-2:30pm Sticky Lessons
What is the cost of this training?
My Healthy Church & the AG National Children’s Ministry Department have partnered up to provide the Tru Fire Training Experience FREE to OUR district!
Is lunch provided?
Yes! A FREE lunch is provided to all attendees.
