It’s with a heavy heart that Arise Ministry’s founding pastor, Fr Michael Forge, announces his new assignment at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Plano, TX.
May God bless you abundantly on your new journey. ❤️
Dear Parishioners,
It is with a heavy heart that I inform you that Bishop Burns has asked me to transfer from Mary Immaculate Church to Prince of Peace Community in Plano as their Pastor. The move is effective July 1, 2021.
My heart is heavy because I’ve so enjoyed being your Pastor these past 13 years and witnessing the faith and dedication to our Lord expand and seeing the parish grow and mature through so many experiences and now I must say goodbye to you all as my parish family as your parish father. I will especially miss the wonderful and dedicated parish staff members that we have here serving you all.
I hear so many good things about Prince of Peace parishioners and their staff that I’m confident that God has “got this” and we are all covered by His love, grace, and providence.
In light of that providence, I’m excited to inform you that Fr. Alfonse Nazzaro, the current Parish Administrator of All Saints – Dallas, has been appointed as the Parish Administrator of Mary Immaculate. Fr. Alfonse is a very dynamic preacher and teacher and will be a huge blessing in leading Mary Immaculate Church.
I will be making this announcement at all the Masses this weekend but I wanted to reach out to those of you who are on Flocknote and might not make it to Mass this weekend.
Thank you all for the past 13 years of life together. Let’s continue to pray for each other as we transition into a new phase in our faith life history.
God bless,
Fr. Michael
