The church of the book of Acts was a growing church in Acts 2 verse 47.
The Lord added to their number all who were being saved.
It is the Lord who adds believers to the church or who are saved.
Maybe it's important to ask yourself.

The church is Not an organization. It is an organism. An organism has life.
An organization has no life. The church as an organism has the life of God.

In conclusion, The church is composed of the called out ones.
People who were called out of the world by God into His kingdom.
Members of the church were called for a special purpose,
a special mission by God.
As believers, we never cease, unless we reject Christ,
we never cease to be members of the church.
Wherever we are, whatever we are doing, but the important question is to ask yourself, for me to ask myself, how am I representing the church of God?
Am I representing the church of God properly? Hallelujah.
Am I representing the church in a way that glorifies God?

Edifying one another, admonishing, evangelizing, correcting each other.
In other words, the church must have members who minister to one another.

Each one has a ministry to contribute to the church.
Now the church of the book of acts was a learning church.
Acts 4 verse A 2 verse 42.
The church devoted itself to the apostles teaching.

Believers had a deep hunger for the word of God.
My pastor who received me into the
Zimbabwe taught me about anger a lesson that I never forgotten.
He said spiritual hunger is different from natural hunger.
spiritual natural hunger.
When you eat, you are satisfied and you become hungry no more.
But spiritual hunger, when you eat of the word of God, you become more and more hungry.
And that's how we should be. Let's feed
on the word of God and we will become more and more hungry.

Now the Bible should be the primary source of our knowledge.
The Bible should be our reference point in everything.
Because it has the answer to everything.

And as members of the church, we must be devoted to one another.

We love one another and praise the Lord. We should be devoted to one another.
There may be some agreement, some disagreements, but
we must have a deep a deep conviction that we belong to one another.

With various members according to Ephesians 3 verse 15.
Now, church meetings like this are not social gatherings
about the latest news in the world. Church meetings
are a special platform to meet with God.

Members of the church shared their possessions
with glad and sincere hearts.
Members of the church should need each other.
The church of the book of acts was a worshiping church.

The worship was a daily experience.
Acts chapter 2 verse 46.
Believers worshiped in the temple courts and in homes.

They worshiped Not because they were forced to but because they wanted to.
Someone put it this way.When we praise God comes down to us.
But when we worship, God brings us to himself.

The church of the book of Acts God together in unity.

Sometimes we don't see results because we are not united.

We should not expect results when we are divided,
when there is no unity in our midst.
But the church of the book of Acts was united and There bore results.

When we talk of love, we we are not talking of love between family members.
We are not talking of love between a husband and a wife.
We are talking of the love of God which is known as agape.
The perfect love of God. Which means if we love one another,
we should not gossip about one another. We should support one another.
We should defend one another. We should correct
one another. It's important out of love, there can be correction that originates from love.

Now the church should not be of spectators because some in the church come in as spectators but there should be no
spectators in the church. The church is not a spectator sport.
We should all be participators.
We have something to contribute to the work of God to the church of God.
Ephesians 4 verse 11-2 speaks of the fivefold ministry.

Ephesians 4 v 11 to 12 says, "The work of
the fivefold ministry is to equip the saints for the works of
ministry."
That's that should be our work as leaders in the church. Equip the saints for ministry.

Every believer is a priest.
In this from this verse, all believers must pull their
giftings for a common purpose or for a common common mission.
