Spiritual Vision
To be transformed through the liturgy, by the Holy Spirit, to build up the body of Christ in service to others. Matthew 5: 14-16 -- “You are the Light of the World.”
II Corinthians 3:18-4:6 -- “We possess the Glory of God in earthen vessels.”

Ministries Vision
That each major area of parochial ministry (that is: Liturgy, Religious Education, Fellowship/Evangelization & Service

/Outreach) can be at a high standard of self sufficiency in service to the people. Matthew 10:5-13 -- “Sending the Twelve to Proclaim the Kingdom.”
I Corinthians 12: 4-7 -- “Our gifts are for the common good.”

Facilities Vision
To maintain and improve our facility for worship, education and ministry, to serve the needs of many. John 17: 20-21 -- “That they may be one.”

Leadership Vision
That as baptized Christians we may realize our calling to service, being united with our parish pastor, and led by the Bishop of the Diocese of Dallas. John 13: 12-15 -- “We are servants to one another modeled on Christ.”

Collaborative Vision
To foster mutual support of parish ministries through respect and collaboration. Matthew 20:20-28 -- “Whoever is first must serve the needs of all”
Romans 12:3-8 -- “We are many parts, but one body.”

Cultural Vision
That we may be open and accommodating to the differences in language and cultural tradition that exist among our people. Who is my neighbor?”

Outreach Vision
To see Christ in all people, and therefore to accept and serve them, regardless of age, gender, need, cultural or social background, or spiritual state. Matthew 25: 37-40 -- “What you have done for others, you have done for me.”

On May 16, we celebrated our final Confirmation Mass of the year as 72 confirmands received the gifts of the Holy Spirit and were sealed in their faith. We are so proud of each of these young men and women as they continue their journey with Christ and His Church.

Please join us in praying for our newly confirmed that they may always remain close to the Holy Spirit and boldly live out their faith each day.

What a joyful Saturday for our parish family! ✨

On April 25, another group of children from Mary Immaculate Church received the Sacrament of Confirmation, sealed with the gifts of the Holy Spirit by Bishop Burns. We are so proud of these young men and women as they continue to grow in faith and live boldly as disciples of Christ.

Please join us in praying for them as they take this next step in their journey with the Church.

What do you want for your family this year?
More peace in your home? Better communication with your kids? Healing from past hurts? Patience that doesn’t run out by 4pm? A faith your children actually embrace?
That’s five massive goals. And honestly? It feels overwhelming just typing them.
But Father Alfonse simplifies it:
“Love. Understanding. Mercy. Compassion. Healing. You can put them all into one word: JESUS.”
Here’s the real question though—and it’s one we need to sit with:
“What must I do to prepare the way for Christ to come into my life?”
Not just at Christmas. But into your HOME. Your parenting. Your marriage. Your family culture.
What needs to change? What noise needs to go? What habits are blocking Him?
Advent isn’t passive waiting. It’s active preparation.
So before you finalize the Christmas shopping list, make another list:
What is our family doing to prepare for JESUS—not just December 25th?
That’s the list that changes everything. 🙏

What’s ONE thing your family is doing to prepare your hearts this Advent? Share below! 👇
