Thank you Assembly 2144 for a hosting a fun afternoon of Cowboys watching at the Springlake Event Center. Thank you KofC Council 5052 for having this event.

Yesterday, Saturday August 23, Knights of Columbus Notre Dame Assembly #2144 provided color corp support for the St Monica feast celebration at St Monica Catholic Church. Yesterday, the new 4th Degree Exemplification was performed for the first time in North Texas. Thank you, Worthy GK Omar Mediano and SK Jesus M Tapia Jr. from Council 5052 for doing a great job hosting this special event held at Mary Immaculate Catholic Church. Great job by the Third Texas District Degree team led by Worthy DM Kevin McGillis and Robert Daleo, among others! Special thanks to Bill Curie and Arthur Lopez for helping setup the banquet hall Friday night, and those who helped with breakfast yesterday morning, including Kyle Potts bringing donuts and Anthony Valenzuela and Arthur Lopez with coffee, juice, and setup. Bill Currie and Andy Morrison represented Assembly 2144 proudly, helping the DM by selling items at checkin. Thank you all for stepping up. Thank you to our color corp: Andy Morrison, Arthur Lopez, Ben Hart, and Bill Curie. Thank you also to Assembly officers Al Solis and Kyle Potts for your support and for welcoming the new SKs. As always, thank you to David Ruml for all your behind the scenes work for both Council 5052 and for our assembly. You go above and beyond.
We were honored to have special guests including the Supreme Master and Vice Supreme Master. It was awesome to see both of them. I dont have a lot of pictures, but here are a few.

Some pictures from our annual Christmas party. This year it was held at Sweet Basil Italian restaurant, hosted by Captain Kyle Potts co-hosted by FN Brian Whitburn and Lady Barbara Flores. We played White Elephant. Good times were had by all.
