Long time member of Webb Chapel UMC Doris Taylor receiving the "Witness to History" award from the city of Farmers Branch February 2013. (Doris passed away in February 2021. )

From Cynthia Reade's daughter Jess:
"For anyone who is not aware, my mother, Cynthia Reade, passed away this past Saturday 12/04/2021. She was found unresponsive and taken to Parkland Hospital 11/30/2021, where she underwent treatment for several days. Her condition was improving but sadly, she went into cardiac arrest and they were not able to save her.
I've started a gofundme page to cover the expenses associated with her passing, but more importantly, while I know she didn't have a lot of friends on facebook and hasn't really used it in awhile, i wanted to make sure anyone who came here to check knew that she is no longer with us."
