We welcome our new pastor, Gary Fairchild, and his wife, Ella, to Weedman this Sunday, July 5 th.
Notice the time change to 8 am for Adult Sunday School,
9 am for Worship Service.
We will have Holy Communion this Sunday.
The children will have Sunday School during the message part of the Worship Service.

Join us in prayer for Spokane County, Washington, as the Upriver Fire continues to quickly spread across the region. Since the fire broke out on Tuesday afternoon, more than 200 acres have burned, nearly 12,000 residents in the densely populated area nearby have been evacuated, and 15 homes have been damaged, with thousands at risk.

As firefighters work to contain the fire, UMCOR is in communication with the Pacific Northwest Annual Conference disaster response coordinator. As the needs of those impacted become known, we stand ready to support their immediate and long-term responses to this disaster.

Annual Conference was held June 4-6, 2026: a wonderful time of celebration, worship, praise reports, fellowship, and, of course, legislation! You can read Paul Black's full summary report (and share it with your congregation) HERE

One of the biggest legislative items to pass this year's Annual Conference Session was the decision to reduce the number of Districts in IGRC, from Five (5) to Four (4), beginning January 1, 2027.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

What About the East District?
The southern portion of the East District will become part of the new Central District.
The northern portion of the East District, together with the Eastern half of the current North District (divided approximately by I-39), will become the new Northeast District.

*Note that these district names are geographical "placeholders" for a conversation that has yet to take place. Permanent names for the new district alignments will be considered at the 2027 session of Annual Conference.

It is our understanding that the church was insured at the time of yesterday’s fire. However, the food pantry’s ministry has an immediate impact on the community and an announcement about next steps will be forthcoming to keep that ministry going.
