Cathedral of Our Merciful Saviour The Cathedral of Our Merciful Saviour is a place where history meets the heart! Welcome to the Cathedral! The Rt. Rev. Holy Eucharist at 10:00am in the Cathedral.

We are glad that you are here and we look forward to connecting with you. The Cathedral of Our Merciful Saviour was erected in 1862 as the first Cathedral of the American Church. Henry Benjamin Whipple, the First Episcopal Bishop of Minnesota laid the cornerstone on July 16, 1862 and the cathedral was consecrated on June 24, 1869. l historical Cathedral. Every Sunday morning begins at 9:00am in The Cloister for our Forum. An adult time for sharing ideas and gaining information on a variety of topics. We welcome members of all denominations at the Lord's Table. We also offer Sunday School during the service. Please stay for Coffee Hour in The Cloister immediately following the service. For information on services, programs, events and tours, please contact the Cathedral Office located in the Guild House just east of the Cathedral. Our hours are 8:00am - Noon, Monday through Friday.
