Day 1 of Confirmation Camp is underway! Please join us in praying for this amazing group of students (and Pr. Kira ☺️) as they embark on a week of fun, fellowship, and memories that will last a lifetime.

Day 1 of Summer Stretch! We started the day canoeing at Lake Sakatah where we saw cormorants, pelicans, and several eagles 🦅 After lunch we headed to New Perspective to visit with residents and plant some flowers 🌹 It was sooo hot we decided to check out the new splash pad. Even these big kids couldn’t resist the fun!

JOIN THE CONVERSATION - Beloved Community

Tomorrow evening (Wednesday, June 10 from 6-7pm) we will gather at Our Savior’s as we start to explore the social statements of the ELCA and reflect on how they shape our life together as followers of Christ. As we seek to discern God’s call for our congregation, these conversations help us consider how we are living out the Gospel in our community and in the world.

Your voice, experiences, and perspectives are an important part of who we are as the body of Christ. Together, we can listen, learn, and imagine how God is calling Our Savior’s to serve faithfully in the years ahead.

This morning I had the privilege of offering a blessing and prayer for riders participating in a benefit motorcycle ride supporting Light of Hope.

I am always inspired when people are able to connect something they love with a cause that helps others. Today, these riders did exactly that—sharing their passion for the open road while raising support and hope for neighbors impacted by cancer.

Part of the prayer included these words: “Let the miles traveled today be a sign of hope for those facing difficult roads of their own.”

May God watch over these riders, keep them safe, and bless the important work their generosity makes possible.
