A fun musical night is in store with Kira Knutson and our neighbor to the south on 25th Street

Our Parish Spring Concert is next Thursday, May 21st at 7:00pm in the main church. We have an exciting new feature of our annual spring concert this year: We will welcome Dr. Kira Knutson as a guest conductor for the event! Dr. Knutson is Organist and Cathedral Choir Director for Gethsemane Episcopal Cathedral-- our neighbors to the north on 25th Street!

Dr. Knutson holds degrees from St. Olaf College, Boston University, and The University of Minnesota – Twin Cities. She has held positions at Harvard University, Macalester College, and Concordia College and served for many years as a K-12 music educator. We are excited to have her expertise and musicality on the podium with us as we close out this season of our performing arts series.

Prayers are offered in thanksgiving for the life of Fr Glenn “Duffy” Williams, and in sympathy for his wife Jane and for all family and friends who mourn his death. Duffy died Wednesday, May 6. The funeral will be at the cathedral on Tuesday, May 12, 2:00 pm.

Grant, O Lord, to all who are bereaved the spirit of faith and courage, that they may have strength to meet the days to come with steadfastness and patience; not sorrowing as those without hope, but in thankful remembrance of your great goodness, and in the joyful expectation of eternal life with those they love. This we ask in the Name of Jesus Christ our Savior. Amen. Book of Common Prayer, page 505
